Analysis of Influencing Factors on Electric Field Distribution of 500 kV Porcelain Insulators

Abstract With the upsurge of digital twin power grid, it is very necessary to carry out a three-dimensional model and simulation analysis grid system. Insulators are one important components in system, appropriate simplification great significance. In this paper, finite element software used calculate model, influence length conductor, tower, yoke plate, grading ring, arrangement insulators on axial electric field distribution (EFD) analyzed. The results show that: conductor will affect uniformity field; compared with plate cause serious distortion intensity curve; integrity tower has different effects; magnitude even shape curve. Therefore, field, above factors should be considered when simplifying insulator which promote development relevant technology.
